June until August 2008 I had the honor of being an International Natural and Cultural Resident awardee at Lake St. Clair National Park, Tasmania.

My project "Tracing Nature" was to make drawings and prints that visually translates my physical and visceral experience of hiking remote landscapes.
In my working process I made thousands of photographs to document my process. The following link are over 300 photographs of my life in the mountain
rangers cabin.

The premise of "Tracing Nature" is that it originates in wilderness solitude and the artwork reflect my observations and record my direct physical
experiences of wilderness living mirroring the changing weather, the sounds of nature, the isolation, and the singular experience of observing time
through changes in environment.

The photo link includes images of me working in the studio, marathon training by running in the mountains, and finally working on a book a the
University of Tasmania.
